Hurst signs exclusive deal with E.A.S.

Hurst Plastics has signed an exclusive deal with E.A.S Windows the Leicestershire-based home improvement specialist and supplier of high quality double glazing systems, conservatories and roof line products.

The contract with E.A.S, initially signed for one year, will see Hurst Plastics supply around 50 door panels and composite doors a month to E.A.S. Hurst will also produce a bespoke door panel brochure and a Rhino composite door brochure for the firm, which has been working with Hurst for around 10 years. The move is set to help E.A.S maximise the potential of Hurst's high performance Rhino composite door, a major growth area for the business.

E.A.S was keen to maintain a reliable and secure supply chain with a reputable and established manufacturer. Having worked with Hurst Plastics for a decade, E.A.S also had confidence in Hurst's products and service. This enabled E.A.S to continue to offer its exclusive 10 year transferable guarantee on all of its products.

Adam Spradbury, managing director of E.A.S, said: "Our arrangement with Hurst helps us to provide our customers with a greater choice of products and services, with a quality that we can rely on. Hurst is constantly developing new and exciting solutions for the industry and this gives us the confidence that any new product innovations will be available to our customers at the earliest opportunity."

Established in 1979, E.A.S moved into fabricating and installing PVC-U products in 1989. The company now employs around 40 staff and offers a comprehensive product range, which includes windows, doors and roof line products. E.A.S also offers a complete home improvement service from designing and building a conservatory to installing underfloor heating and hard landscaping.

With so many products on offer, the company has a living show home - a real semi-detached property - which is a showcase for the different shapes, styles, colours and finishes available. It also allows customers to see and appreciate the quality of the company's work. Adam says, "Customers love the fact that windows and doors are in a real property and that there is such a huge range to see - from casement windows to traditional sash windows and the very latest multi-fold doors." E.A.S Windows has a state-of-the-art website - www.easwindows.co.uk - which features its wide range of products. The website also includes a "virtual" tour option.

Hurst Plastics is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of high quality PVC-U door infill panels and polymer doors. Based in Kingston-Upon-Hull, the company also supplies a wide choice of unique glazing options and a selection of GRP products, including over door canopies, bow canopies and conservatory roofs.
