EAS Windows sponsor
Aylestone Park Inclusive Football Team.
The team coach Ian Smith
reports: "We have a squad of approximately 23
players, covering all ages and ability levels. We are
always on the lookout for new talent! Contact details
are on the Aylestone Park website (click on website
address to go there) –
www.Aylestoneparkfc.org.uk We meet the first and
third Friday of every month from 6.30-8.00pm.
We have just started playing
in the new Inclusive Football League. At the moment
there are two other teams. For the sake of the players,
it is very important we maintain the momentum of the
league. Sponsorship of Aylestone Park has played a large
part of this. Other teams will be joining shortly.
The players have many
different types of disability, including physical and
learning. Coaches are specifically trained by the
Leicestershire and Rutland County F.A. Many of the
players, due to their disability, have very little
social contact. Sponsorship ensures they feel part of a
team, able to compete with similar skilled players. Not
only is the football important, but also parents are
able to meet and chat with other parents in a similar
position.
On behalf of all the
players, parents, coaches and staff at Aylestone Park, I
would like to thank EAS Windows for their
most generous sponsorship."
