More and more people are setting up a home office from
which to conduct their daily business.
However, space within a family residence can sometimes
be at a premium.
An
alternative option may be to convert an outhouse.
Many homes, particularly those dating from the Victorian
era, have outhouses attached to the rear of the
property.
These buildings generally housed an outside toilet or,
later on, were used as storage areas for firewood or
coal.
The
outhouse at the E.A.S premises on New Street in Oadby is
pictured here before conversion into an office took
place.
