The second instalment of the Monthly Feature section of the website, which deals with topical issues. This month we highlight an out of the ordinary E.A.S installation.

 
 

Local couple Mr & Mrs Harrison thoroughly enjoyed their conservatory. Mr Harrison had built it himself, over many years, some time ago. However, the Harrisons knew that it was in need of replacement. Unfortunately, as Mrs Harrison pointed out in her letter to E.A.S, the thought of having it taken away was too much to contemplate ...

 
 

They had initially contacted another, national, Home Improvement Company but were put off by the pushy nature of the Salesman. He had insisted on an immediate decision from the couple plus payment of an up front deposit should they choose to go ahead. Mrs Harrison's letter takes up the story ...

 
 

E.A.S drew up plans for an exact carbon copy to be built but with all the modern security features incorporated. The Harrisons were suitably impressed and placed an order for the work to commence. Coincidentally, shortly after they were the lucky winners of the E.A.S Open Day free prize draw, held earlier this year. Managing Director, David Spradbury, is pictured here presenting them with their champagne.

 
 

Mr & Mrs Harrison were hopeful of being able to sit in their new conservatory in time for Christmas. This was a tall order particularly with the unusual design of the original structure. Mrs Harrison again ...

 
 

All work was completed on schedule and the Harrisons were able to enjoy the benefits of their replica conservatory in time for the festive season. Mrs Harrison was overjoyed ... 

 
 
... and E.A.S were more than happy to oblige. Director, Adam Spradbury, dropped by to take a look for himself and extend seasonal greetings.   
 

 

 

The final quote is from Adam himself. "Mrs Harrison looked after me when she was my Nursery Teacher. I was always very grateful to her for that. I am pleased that we were given the opportunity to repay her kindness in this way."
