EAS are delighted to announce their 2007 sponsorship of the Leicester City Football Club Captain Stephen Clemence.

Clemence was signed in July 2007, from Premiership club Birmingham City, for a fee that could eventually rise to £1 million.

He was voted the Player of the Year and Player’s Player of the Year at Birmingham last season and has signed an initial 3 year contract with The Foxes.

Liverpool born Stephen is the son of former England international goalkeeper Ray Clemence. Stephen has also represented England at Under 21 level.

Clemence made his debut for Tottenham Hotspur, at the age of 19, in August 1997. He moved to Birmingham in January 2003 for a fee of £900,000. He made 135 appearances for The Blues and scored on 9 occasions.

EAS recognised Stephen’s leadership skills along with his commitment, passion and drive. All these qualities made him the perfect choice for their sponsorship. They are pleased to maintain their association with Leicester City and wish Stephen well for the current season.
